We called into the new shop on Monday. The Bar de Chocolate was eclectic, fun and friendly - we are big Choccy fans having ordered several cakes, including our wedding cake nearly 20 years ago. To actually visit the store and eat in the Bar...More

Visited the new store that only opened today and although they had a few hiccups with payment system, staff were delightful, appeared very unstressed and were totally professional throughout. Can't praise them highly enough...and the food and drinks were amazing. Just what I expected. Worth...More

My thin, incomplete sad looking slice of cake was disappointing, the coffee was ‘ok’. The table wasn’t wiped down before I was seated and had sticky mug rings all over it. Poor value for money, grubby & over rated.

Seeing the Chocolate fondue (dips) with the option of adding different dips attracted me to this place. I ordered a chocolate dip with 2 more dips so I would have the range of White, Milk and Dark chocolate. The chocolate was nice sweet but not...More

My review is based on a wet Saturday lunchtime. The shop is in two bits, downstairs as a retail outlet and upstairs as the cafe. There aren't any signs but you go upstairs to either be seated (if not busy) or put your name on...More

Having visited the Brighton store I was desperate for the rest of my family to try choccywoccydoodah since we were in London. I wish we hadn’t! Having built it up, it all went terribly wrong! First we were split into two tables of 2, okay...More
