Get ready if you want to queue to be seated. What about if it's raining? You got no shelter. The place is really nice, like the idea of American 50's coffee atmosphere, but when it comes to food: nothing special. You can have the same somewhere else at a more reasonable price. It's a trendy and cool place and it's... More

This place seems to be something of an institution in the Hoxton/Shoreditch area so it was no surprise to see a bit of a queue along the wall outside, awaiting a table for Sunday brunch. It didn't take long to get to the front and we were warmly welcomed into the retro restaurant. The queueing time had already given us... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the couthouse hotel and enquired about lunch spots when we were checking out. The receptionist told us about the amazing Breakfast Club just 2 mins away so we had to check it out. Having wandered past the stinky bins and tramps on the way to hoxton square we took the turn to the venue... More

Loved my visit here. Such a popular place that there's a queue to get in! Definitely worth the wait though. Elvis milkshake is amazing, I highly recommend and I've never tasted anything like their vegetarian sausage. Staff are so friendly and the music left me feeling very nostalgic. Definitely going back!

Went here for breakfast with my partner and I was really underwhelmed. Got the veggie breakfast which came with 4 mushrooms. Toast wasn't great and just a lot of money for what it was. You can eat breakfast pretty much anywhere else round hoxton/old street/shoreditch and it will be nicer than this!

I had huevos rancheros and Tony American and they were both stunning and big - delicious and set us up well for the day. Loved also the quirky retro style. We arrived about 10 on a Sunday and had no problem getting a table but a queue had formed outside by the time we left.

Superb place for breakfast / brunch. Worth the 15 minute que outside. Great menu, super-tasty, generous portions. Will be a no-brainer for a revisit when next in area.

This was the second time we visited. We wanted to come back because we would like to taste more of the menu. We are big fans. Returning again that's for sure :-)

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighbourhood Profile
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.
