We were looking for something to eat in the afternoon and chanced upon Wafflemeister at Oxford Street. Oh we were confused what to have since everthing looked so tempting. Loved the strawberry and cream, marshmallow surprise and the cream and cookies. They were quite heavy and yes we were so happy and full!

Not sure how much they pay to get the liege Waffel label, but they need to invest more in their mix recipe, and maybe keep the toppings simpler. The sweet Waffel I took had a weird taste of cucumber, not sure where it came from.

I am sorry to hear you were disappointed. All our liege waffles are actually made from batter not a mix. The dough is handmade in Belgium, Liege. We use a secret recipe that dates back to the 1950's and truly believe it is a gem. Perhaps you are referring to our American waffle range which is made using our proprietary... More

After visiting Belgium and eating countless Belgian waffles, I looked up a place in London to satisfy my waffle craving and found this place! It was absolutely amazing and I can't wait to go back the next time I visit London.

I had a waffle with white chocolate & loved every bite of it! The staff was quick to serve & there are plentiful options. Gets 4* because 1scoop of ice cream is £2.40 Will go again to try one with white chocolate, bananas & crème brulé ice cream. ....soon. yum!

This was my go-to place almost every night of my week in London, for a crisp, freshly made waffle topped with ice cream (15 or 16 flavors to choose from, if I remember correctly) before going back to my hotel for the night. The only drawback was the complete lack of counters or table space; I generally ate mine with... More

My son visited this venue and bought a waffle, told the woman he was allergic to peanuts and she said it contained none. On starting to eat it he immediately felt unwell, returned it and asked for refund she refused. He then realised it was making him ill so took out 4 antihistamine to take, went to the woman asked... Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
