It was slow when we visited. Still the barman was pleasant and efficient. We ordered wine, while some pints and early lunches were served around us. The food looked delicious, if standard bar fare. We'll try it next time. The bar was spotless and tidy,...More

I've been coming to this pub for more than twenty years, partly because I used to live in Hertfordshire and this pub is owned and offers ales brewed by a brewery in Hertfordshire. On a brief visit to London, I pondered where to have lunch...More

I didn’t eat to be fair, just here for a drink but this place really hits the mark in being a characterful boozer but modern with a good atmosphere, decent range of drinks etc. Will be a go to pub for me in the west...More

Really love this gem. Whenever I am in London for a few days I always find myself drawn back here. Good atmosphere and fab food. Hubby and I shared 5 small plates (tapas type). Plates aren't small at all and quality far from small. Great...More

I wouldn't call The Spice of Life a typical London pub as it is best known for the Jazz Club in its basement. However, it is a nice enough pub but I wouldn't take children there.
