How could a pub get everything so wrong- card reader not working and with waiting time for food nearing an hour, the manager deals with it by laughing. Dopey and very slow staff, a very limited sausage menu (suffer poor veggies) and food that reaches you cold. An unmitigated disaster and no wonder it's relatively empty compared to the competent... Enjoyed a great veggie burger and good value for money. Needs more veggie options (not a big mushroom) On the day the only other veggie option sausage and mash was sold out. Could do with a nice fish burger option. Nice and spacious. Nice venue for families.

This pub is very relaxed. It has a part with tables and one with fireplace and sofas. The first time I came there was a lady customer reading a book near the fireplace and in front of the fire her dog was sleeping. This is exactly how it feels in there. We used to take baked Camembert and chips or... More

Lovely lovely lovely! The food was classic pub food and delicious. And I had the best mint tea I've had in awhile. Nice calm atmosphere, clean and cozy.

I arranged a surprise birthday party for my husband at this venue and from the start nothing was too much trouble! Andy, the pub landlord/manager organised a brilliant buffet and drinks, organised timings with me and let friends and family into the space we'd hired (huge ample space) to allow them to decorate. They had nothing but praise for him... More

The pub is nice and service friendly but frankly nothing on the menu was of interest - it was hamburgers and hot dogs. We have stopped by for a pint when walking by but go elsewhere for dinner.

Best sausages and mash I've eaten. They have a range of different sausage recipes. The beers on tap are great and so are the G and Ts. It's a nice and easy pub, large and spacious so always has place. Also has a lovely 'secret' garden in he back and great for a sunny day!

So I decided to eat my pride and go back to this pub as it's the nearest to my house after a horrible experience in January. I went in and ordered food and a drink. The lunch was bland the bread hadn't been buttered and was rubbish sliced loaf for the sandwich. This area is full of artisan bakeries the... More

Very disappointed was wanting to order a meal but nobody came near me despite the place being very quiet. Will finish my expensive £4.70 pint of Heineken and leave. BAR STAFF NOT ATTENTIVE.
