Can be a bit cramped on Thursdays/Fridays as quite narrow. Some tables but often too busy to get one. Good range of ales with some interesting flavours. Service fairly quick.

Came here on a relatively quiet Saturday lunchtime for beer and food. At least 6 beers on tap plus ciders and a perry, all well kept. Samples were offered to our guests so they could choose the best one for them. Simple food menu, pies, Fish and chips, burgers and good old ham, egg and chips. All well cooked and... More

We reserved an area for my friends birthday and we had a great evening from 7-12am. We loved it. Good food, drink and atmosphere. We could have stayed on later. The staff were super friendly, helpful and great to talk to. The food was well prepared, wholesome and I recommend the falafel burger. It came quickly with no mistakes -... More

Great place if you like real beer or cider - 20 specials on the go at any one time, details on a board, staff the beardy knowledgeable type, food is good quality pub grub and the scotch eggs and sausage rolls are truly awesome. Sister pub the Phoenix near the BofE does the same but bigger, louder and for lager... More

Great choice of ales and cider on tap. Good price and the food menu looks brilliant (didn't stay for food). The spirits and mixer were a bit expensive however, that's London for you...

we do drink in this pub as only live down the road and I love the ciders (Old Rosie), we decided to try the half roast chicken with roast potatoes root veg, cauliflower cheese and a yorkie and it was excellent. If your in the area well worth a visit.

I co-hosted an event at The Williams recently and Jade and her team did a superb job; hugely friendly, great service, excellent food and, all round, they made for a hugely enjoyable event

A really nice pub close to Liverpool Street. Friendly knowledgeable staff who know their beers and cider. Live music on some Saturdays. Definitely worth a trip!

Neighbourhood Profile
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
