Nice treat to start the day! Just up from clapham junction. Spanish ham and big croissants. Not flash, but simple quality.

Just had a Cortado, was offered a complimentary glass of water poured from an old brown medicine bottle.... Didn't have time to sample the food, and at first glance wasn't tempted. Seems like any half decent coffee house in London, so no wow factor for me....But to it's credit I got a well made Cortado

Really enjoyed my breakfast at Birdhouse: great service, nice atmosphere and great food! Their chorizo is amazing.

Sorry about this but - not for me. Why? Very noisy even when half full, spartan and slightly uncomfortable, and adding 11% service charge. Food nice enough though.

In fairness, the coffee was what one would come to expect from a hipster style cafe: slightly bitter, strong and served at the correct temperature. Alas the request to wait outside, during December, whilst they prepared my coffee to go left me somewhat perplexed and if nothing else rather cold.

The competition around The Birdhouse continues to grow and there are some great local alternatives but Birdhouse still wins in terms of the best coffee by far and some unusual and delicious food at fair prices. Do yourself a favour and drop in - you won't be disappointed!

This place is just cozy and welcoming!Either for coffee and something sweet, or full breakfast/brunch. It was simply delish! I ordered the omelette with avocado on it. I was so pleased and my mouth and belly super happy. Very very yummy 😋 highly recommend. Prices normal for what it was and for London, very nice staff.

I popped in for a quick bite to eat on a Sunday afternoon and I was super impressed with the birdhouse. So much more than a cafe, the food is outstanding! We had the steak bocadillo and smashed avocado on toast with fresh squeezed orange juice which were spot on. The food was incredibly flavoursome and super fresh. I can't... More

I love this place. I come here most weekends with my husband. the food is made with care and presented beautifully. The staff are always such a pleasure and I love getting to know them as they are such interesting people. They are always busy at the weekends but the food NEVER suffers nor the coffee. We sometimes try other... More

I don't know why so many cafes in Clapham Junction have no wifi or a really bad connection. It's tough to use my own data even...
