After reading many positive reviews on this restaurant,we decided to give it a go. We got seated and got our order taken, however 15 mins later we were still waiting on our drinks and complimentary bread even though the couple sitting next to us came in after and was immediately given the bread and their drinks. The cutlery placed on the table... Nice place to come and eat some kebab and salad. Good thing is that you can bring your own wine and beer and they don't charge you a corkage fee. Worth bringing your own alcohol if you want to come for a meal in the evening. Food is tasty and it's not too expensive considering you're in London. Tom Tip... More

I love them. The food is great, healthy and at a good price. I live just across the road so they see me here at least twice a week every week. In weekends can be very busy and the service may be slower... but I've always been satisfied with everything. Considering that I may have eaten here at least 100... More

Terrific Turkish food in a small cafe on Ladbroke Grove in London...very near a tube station. Basically, you really can't go wrong here. Start with the mixed mezze for two (humus, tabule, ezme and cacik) and definitely add the baba ganoush...the best I've had. The lamb and/or chicken Beyti is perfectly spiced and grilled...the donor or kebab likewise. We have... More

Couldn't have had it better in Istambul! This place is soooo good I have to come back! My sister lived in London for a while and told me I had to come here for their Kebab. Isn't it rare when you come to a place with high expectations and you get positively surprised!? Had the Lamb Donner Kebab and the... More

Small simple restaurant but excellent food. Busy place and popular with locals and Turkish people as well. Prices are very reasonable but you have to bring your own alcohol.

Spontaneous stop for lunch here on Saturday was well rewarded with a delicious meal. The smoky taste of tender meat from the charcoal grill was fantastic. The place was buzzing and the service was great.

We had dinner here on a thursday night and it was quite busy. We got seated after a 10 minute unstructured wait. After that we ordered some starters, bread, hummus, salads and all fresh. I had the mixed kebab as a main with a nice charcoal taste to the meat. An affordabe meal and you can bring your own alcohol... More

I've been here many times, and it never disappoints. The food is authentic and freshly prepared, staff are friendly and there's always a great buzz about this place. Oh, and I recommend the Iskender Kebab.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
