We always enjoy this restaurant for its buzz in the heart of London. They are definitely at their best when it's busy. We went for a Thursday late lunch, it was very quiet and our food was cold and we waited for our carrots for 10 mins into meal. To be fair they did react to this very quickly, made... More

We decided to have a 'baby-moon' in London so wanted to treat ourselves to a nice restaurant that had plenty of options for a preganant person that didn't just involve steak. From the moment we walked in till when we left we had such a perfect, romantic time. The atmosphere is lovely, waiting staff helpful, but not over the top... More

One of my favourite places in city for dinning and drinks. Brought my cousin for a quick bite which eventually ended up in a feast. Most thanks to Iza, our waitress and Jess, the head receptionist who just looked after us ridiculously well Will be back

Stunning restaurant with lots of character, staff were friendly and professional. The food was just delicious, not over complicated or fussy, just simply delicious. We all had different starters and mains and were all impressed with the wonderful flavours, can't wait to visit again. BSK is definitely on my favourite restaurant list.

We've been both to the Maze in Mayfair and here before some years ago and were pretty impressed with everything. In the summer we visited his Heddon Street Kitchen which was pretty much a let down on every front. Nevertheless having been to Bread Street before we decided to come back. What a shame? Everything apart from the decor has... More

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
