I have been a few times to Notes. It is very much trying to be Cambridge (MA) or Brooklyn (NY). If you like overpaying for hot drinks then it is perfect. Positives: the decor is well done, capturing the edgy hipster world well. Music is not too loud but helps on the atmosphere. Negatives: the prices (£2.90 for a tea,... More

We arrived here because it was next door to the Theatre. We only hade just over an hour but the staff were quick efficient and friendly. A good range of veg options. We had mushroom pate, and cranberry jam biscuit with camembert, followed by a mezzo thingy with Bruchette, Harissa, Hummus, salad and more. Some good sweet to follow. The... More

Some friends and I visited Notes whilst attending the Feast of St George in Trafalgar Square. I'd seen this coffee shop recommended on Londonist this week, and added to my "to visit" list. When everyone decided at pretty much the same time that they needed caffeine, I suggested Notes. Only a short walk from Trafalgar Square, I was surprised it... More

For true coffee snobs, this is a great spot, often missed by passer by's. The cafe is in the heart of London, very close to trafalgar square and has a sense of class and calm. A hidden gem, often overshadowed by nearby coffee chains, this is great for a quiet good quality coffee. The inside space is so calm, which... More

Me and my hubby popped in here for a quick beer on 8th April. Expensive drinks and staff not overly attentive....6/7 people behind counter not seemingly doing a lot. Nice place and cakes looked lush so would probably go there again

Good quality coffee for £2.70 and a reasonable quality breakfast. A good sized venue which is ideal for meeting up with someone for a catch up

It was a busy Saturday, and I have nof tried this place before.... ordered bacon bagel (looked like a bagel) but it had one cube of bacon in it.... so food I ordered wasn't value for money, also cafe didn't have sufficient facilities for it's capacity, otherwise if u like, give this place a go

We truly enjoyed our evening at Notes! Nice ambiance, amazing selection of wine from all around the world. The staff was really welcoming and gave us all the recommandations we needed. About food, we tried a lot of good things but the cheese platter was definitely my fav!

Hard to find a place like that in London. The selection of the products is amazing. Nice food, good coffees and beautiful selection of wine. The staff knows their job very well and are really helpful if needed for any question. What wine you should i drink, the origin of the products,...I recommend that please to everyone
