Arrived early at the station to meet a friend so entered the nearby pub. I was very surprised upon entering and very pleased within moments of scanning the layout, decor, drink availability, and food menu. I will definitely be back!

Description
A Denmark Hill pub of mythical proportions. It's not often a pub can make the earth move. Abuzz with friendly banter and offbeat charm, you'll find The Phoenix benefits from more than just good vibrations from the throng of trains below. Like its mythical namesake, this quirky venue rose from the flames of the great Denmark Hill Station fire. Remnants of the building's original character blend effortlessly with the cosy furnishings, resulting in a look as sublimely eclectic as our speciality drinks list, and as timeless as the defunct yet impressive station clock hanging pride of place from our high-vaulted ceilings.
