Nice pub situated in theatre land offering good range of beers in this very old building which is used for filming and haunted tours.

Nice old London pub. Decided to try the Salisbury since it was across the road from the hotel. Opted to have a sharing meal between the two of us - what a disappointment. Looked good on the platter however it was luke warm to say the least, informed the barman and he offered to replace it - once bitten twice... More

Looking for somewhere to shelter from the rain, I found this gorgeous pub. To say that it is a haven among the hustle & bustle of the West End is an understatement. The duty manager, John, was warm & welcoming, even suggesting the best theatre venues around. Definitely one of the nicest places I have been. Thank you!!

Stopped for a pint before lunch and having seen the food coming out we stayed on for lunch. Apparently it’s a grade 2 listed Victorian Gin Palace, but whatever it is it’s warm and welcoming. The menu had good English pub food: pies, fish & chips and a Sunday roast, but also had burritos and other less traditional plates. The... More

Make sure you seek out this pub in the Covent Garden area. It's one of my favorites in London. You will never want to leave! Food is terrible just go for the drinks. We had the fish and chips and it had absolutely zero flavor.

Two seniors, who love the atmosphere of traditional London pubs, would recommend this one to connoisseurs ! Wonderfully busy, but a warm welcome and simply superb atmosphere. This very traditional pub is virtually unspoilt, and the glass work and general décor is simply wonderful. Chalkboards tell a little of it's history, and the whole place is just magical. Sit down... Visited the Salisbury on 22 April with my wheelchair bound Mum. We had booked a table but due to a late cab and terrible traffic, we were about 40-50 mins late. We called ahead to say we were running late. The Salisbury kept the table for us. When we arrived, it wasn't clear where the food was served but James,... More

I used to visit the Salisbury Pub over 30 years ago when I first moved to the UK and after a matinee near by decided to see if any changes had been made. I was pleased to see that the decor is still this over the top Victoriana. Beautiful cut glass everywhere. The bar prices are very reasonable for a... More
