I had long intended to visit this pub after casting an eye over it on my way to the tube station for the last few months, my wife also when she visited. Stunning Art Deco exterior/interior. I suggested to my boss when he came down...More

We stopped into the Blackfriar on a Sunday evening without a reservation. Even though they were quite busy, the waitress found us a table. We had a great meal with some nice ales and ciders.

While visiting London, I took my team to the Blackfriar and so glad I did. Most of them ordered fish and chips while I selected a club with chunky fries and lemon tart. Oh my gosh, the club was absolutely delicious and the lemon tart...More

Glad to say the Blackfriars has remained the same and not been rebranded or changed. Down in London for a birthday event. Good beers on offer - still very popular and fills up quickly in the evening.

Great pub to go to if you are visiting London. It's a about a minutes walk from Blackfriars Tube sration. The pub has a lot of history and the decor is great. Good choice of beer and seating outside for a sunny day

The pub is amazing with the ambience. We were hungry and wanted to order the burgers. Unfortunately the meat was horrible and not tasty. It was a big disappointment. Hope they change their meat provider!

I wouldn't take kids to this pub at that time of night. It seems to revert to more of a drinking venue in the evening. We had a lovely (and good value) breakfast in Joes Kitchen and Coffee House which is not far away and is... More
