While staying in the hotel we went downstairs after a long day for a nice meal. Not knowing it was a Chinese food restaurant I was a bit leery after making that discover but decided to stay and I must say it was an excellent meal. We ordered the silver meal for 2 and where presented with a delicious selection... More

As we missed out on lunch here before Christmas (closed for a private function) decided to rectify that this month. No problem getting a table and went for the set menu. Had a decent crispy shredded chicken to start and tried some of the hot and spicy Szechuan sea food soup and then barbecue pork and duck and also sweet... More

Just a stone's throw from Victoria's Gtwk Express literally 2 mins walk and really top class fare - the Peking Duck was excellent and great value in comparison to other top London Chinese.

We were staying at The Grosvenor Hotel in London and the Grand Imperial has an entrance to the restaurant off the hotel lobby so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Silver combination menu as we wanted to try a variety of dishes and it seemed to be the most economical. The service was a bit slow... More

We visited the Grand Imperial with 2 friends from Finland. We have been here a few time before and have always had great food and fantastic service. Yet again we were not disappointed, great food and service. Very well done Grand Imperial

Food quality is good, both the dim-sum and the a la carte selections, but very pricey for the portion sizes. Further, as numerous reviewers have already indicated, the service, the efficiency and the attitude of the staff really need to be improved quite desperately. I am not entirely sure if I will return any time soon...

Went during off peak time at 3pm for dim sum and noodles. Food is ok, service is ok and pricing is equal to the food quality. Decor is good. We feel that the service can be improved.

Excellent food (Especially the Sweet & Saour Prawnd chilly). Fast service. If you order " Aromaric Crispy duck" 1/2 portion is good enought for 2. Special reward to Maksda the waitress

Visted last week with a few friends after reading the other reviews and should had stay cleared. For the price the food is expensive but not much better than somewhere you find in chinatown. The service was the worse you can get in a higher tier establishment. The male waiter we had serving us was just not refined enough to... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
