I visited here with a friend as it was recommended to us. Coming from a restaurant background I was really excited to try this place as I've heard a lot amd they lived up to expectations the food was great and even though they were fully packed there service was great too would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for... Whilst we enjoyed a busy atmosphere (so they must be doing something right) we found the food to be very bland and lacking seasoning and spice. To say that for a bhuna and a dansak, you can imagine how tasteless the food was. Naan was excellent though. Sorry, avoid.

All the 'Indian' restaurants along Brick Lane are equally as good. You can't really go wrong. I ate here with my girlfriend using a Groupon deal, which was excellent value. The food was very good, not at all too spicy. Staff are friendly. There were ample tables at the time we visited and plenty of people in the restaurant. No... More

We googled for the best Indian in Brick Lane and this one came up first. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the restaurant was really clean and nicely decorated. We ordered the Lamb Rezala and Chicken Tawa as our main courses and were not disappointed. The curries tasted amazing and the side orders of aubergine and mushroom bhaji... More

The best part of the whole experience was the service. The men outside are lovely and super fun. The food is very fresh and not too spicy necessarily, which is ideal for newcomers and spicy food lovers alike! The end of meal mints are delicious too, I wish they sold them on the side. Overall, great experience, recommend it to... More

Friendly invitation from the street, pity that was as good as it gets. Service was not great, long wait to be served and a long wait for our meal to arrive. The food was very bland which was such a shame. We have eaten in other restaurants in Brick Lane and this is by far the worst curry we have... More

Took friends to brick lane as normally have great experiences and can honestly say this was not one of those. Food was good but had to wait nearly an hour for starters and another 30mins for mains that were only served luke warm at best. Would not visit again.

Great authentic vegetarian options at this Brick Lane favourite. I loved the aubergine curry and delicious dhal. It's worth running the gauntlet of the restaurant touts to visit this great little restaurant. Brilliant lassi is also worth a try too.

I read the reviews but the shops looked busy so I tort it's the only busy one must be good. The lambs chops where the best starters iv had. The chicken tikka masala was just perfect no complaints will be back soon. I belive the the other reviews are fake or by other restaurants.

I really cannot comprehend the negative reviews on Trip Advisor about this place; I can only assume they were reviews placed by their competition. We negotiated a good price outside the restaurant for poppadoms plus chutneys, starters, main courses, rice and naan breads for 4 of us. We were able to bring our own bottle of wine with no corkage... More
