The food was tasty enough but i find this place overpriced because portions are small and the decoration of the restaurant is ok for fast food place but not for the restaurant with this prices. First I ordered a taco plate from express lunch menu...More

Went in here on a whim and had a lovely time. Staff were very friendly, music was authentic Mexican, nice cocktails and food tasted really fresh. Giving 4 rather than 5 stars as it was a bit cold, but would happily return.

Food quality is very good, but everything feels rushed, not at all relaxing. Also when you consider that most of the dishes served are made from relatively cheap products, the price is outlandish (yes, I know it's central London). I wouldn't refuse to eat there...More

Villiers Street is one of my all time favourite streets in London and Lupita is far and away my favourite place to eat there. The food is genuinely Mexican (not Tex-Mex), the beer is Mexican (try Pacifico) and, altogether, it feels like you might be...More

My sister and I came here for an early dinner after the theatre. The waiter who welcomed us in was very friendly and there were plenty of tables available at that time. From then onwards, however, there were many issues. Firstly, our spicy salsa nibbles...More

This used to be my favourite Mexican place 4 years ago, but alas I have come to admit it just is not worth it anymore. Coming from NY I was used to high quality Mexican food, solid Fish Tacos & salmon Tostadas, and not giving...More

The food was excellent. My wife and I went specifically for the fish/prawn tacos, which were delicious, and the chipotle mayonnaise really helped finish it off. Caipirinha was nice, albeit with slightly too much lime, but still better than most. I had a minor stomach...More

London's most authentic Mexican taqueria. The same tastes, ingredients, flavors and smells found in Mexico City. As one of the most popular restaurants providing authentic Mexico City cuisine in London, the chefs at Lupita pride themselves on the authenticity of their dishes. Choosing to use only fresh, flavoursome ingredients to create exciting and tastebud tingling dishes, the menus at Lupita are a true reflection of the incredible flavours, colours and smells found throughout Mexico. In September 2012, Zagat, the worldwide ratings and reviews website for restaurants, released their London 2012 survey results announcing that Lupita had made the top five Mexican restaurants in the city.Enjoy a wide range of dishes from tacos, tostadas, quesadillas and enchiladas to salads, soups and totopos (traditional homemade tortilla chips) before washing it all down with one of Lupita’s much loved margaritas, made with 100% agave tequila.
