Five years after my first visit to Opera Tavern, not much has changed - which is a good thing. Food was nice. Octopus is recommended as is the soft centre scotch egg (a POPULAR dish) on the bar snack menu. Service is so so -...More

Into the middle of tourist "rippers" you find the Opera Tavern - I was so surprised about the quality, freshness and great taste of the food - the service team was super friendly, kind and supportive

Third time in a year. Amazing as usual. Iberia Pork Burger with four gras, pigs ears and the list goes on. Superb atmosphere, if a little noisy. A must go

This tavern is suggesting Spanish tapas to eat before/after visiting Opera house another side of the street. In particular, we ate tuna, sea bream, quite well done but too expensive, even for London

Between the 6 of us, we ordered the entire menu, which is interesting yet familiar. Every dish tasted different, (not as silly as it sounds) and apart from the Hake with tomato sauce, we loved absolutely everything. As others have said , the courgette flower...More
