We went due to the chef's special two course dinner. We were a little annoyed that the items we wanted happened to not be available that day. The food was not great, but the service was good. We were satisfied, but not overwhelmed. Oh, a white cream sauced pasta would have been nice to have as an option.

We visited Bella Italia before going to the theatre. When we walked in there was only one table occupied but we still had to wait a while before we were even acknowledged. We were then given a nice table by the window - this turned out to be the only highlight of our visit. The furniture had clearly seen better... More

Four of us went there and were given a warm welcome and were quickly seated and served although they were busy and we hadn't booked, The food was excellent and the waiters friendly. We had a very happy evening. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

I have been to this restaurant twice this week and plan on going once more before I leave. The food is good and the service is above average in fact excellent for central London. The prices are also good for what you receive. If you love Italian food this restaurant is a must. Book ahead so you won't be disappointed.
