Have never been a great fan of Brick Lane, but thought I'd give it another try. This restaurant got chosen as it didn't hav an irritating tout at the door. The food was just OK and not a patch on the flavours of many Scottish equivalents. The 'special' curry I had was insipid, and the meat flavourless. y wife had... More

Fantastic curry! Really really tasty and I should know as I eat a lot of curry! Friendly staff offer to go out to buy Cobra for you if you give them cash. Unhurried service! Looking forward to going back!

Visited Cinnamon in a party of 7, meeting up with old friends. Great, subtly flavoured food, attentive service, great atmosphere.

We were a large group of 35 people, eating out after work on a Monday evening. Hassan and Robbie took such good care of us. Cannot fault the service or the food. No one was waiting, they clearly can handle big groups really well and the quality and choice of food was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you... More

We went for a lunchtime meal with a group of friends before an evening in shoreditch. Was a little quiet, but to be expected so soon after the holidays. All of our meals were perfect and the attentive staff were always at hand for our drink orders. Our next trip round that way will definitely include a trip to Cinnamon

Been going here for years and then did not get a chance to dine here for a year or so. Went on Saturday 28 January 2017 and everything was completely amazing. Wish I did not wait so long to go back. Already planning another trip ASAP. Best curry I have had outside of my kitchen in London! The staff are... More

Friendly waiters, tasty food in a comfortable restaurant. Located in Brick Lane, the restaurant was ideally placed near our hotel and training venue. Catered well for a group of 16. Would recommend.

I thought the food was average. We didn't book, and they were busy but downstairs was free, though a guy wanted us to go to the restaurant next door (part of them) we refused. The service was ok. Was busy so bit of a wait for food but wasn't a problem.

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
