One of my favourite restaurants in London. We always save this for a special occasion. I would recommend the meat fruit for starter and the tipsy cake for dessert. I cannot get enough of the tipsy cake! It's so good! I went for the steak as main and yes there are many good steak restaurants in London, why would I... More

I went to the restaurant last week, and was extreemely excited to finally try to food in the very famous restaurant. The food was excellent, full stop, The staff were nice and friendly, no problem. What I absolutely didnt like was the environement. The restaurant was full, and with the guests all speaking loudly at the same time, one can... More

Food quality and selection are great! Not too sure about the restaurant positioning, whether it's fine or mid-rank or casual dining. Atmosphere not formal, but also not cosy. Wooden floor makes the environment noisy and disturbing with waiters and guests walking around. When requested for a change of table to avoid further disturbance to our meal, the waiter's first reaction... More

My first time in a 2 Michelin Star restaurant and I really loved it. Meat Fruit and Tipsy Cake are something I will never forget, so delicious they were. Service was excellent and I find the prices actually reasonable when compared to quality. The reastaurant was a little bit too noisy, but everything else was wonderful. It was nice to... More

I am a foodie for sure and this place was worth visiting, but when you go to a 2 Michelin star restaurant, you expect outstanding every thing, and I felt that this place fell short in terms of service a bit. We had lunch set menu --- I think that set menus usually are designed to show case what they... More

I am torn on Dinner. There are some elements that are outstanding, and then others that fell a little short of the mark. I like to think I am a bit of a foodie, and one of my favourite things is visiting Michelin star restaurants. I can totally understand how it went down from number 7 in the world. I... More

From the minute we arrived until the minute we left, the service was as excellent as you would expect it to be, knowledgable, friendly, sociable and efficient. The food was delicious with sensible portion sizes so that we felt like we'd had sufficient by the time we left. A beautiful Frumenty to start followed by Hereford Steak and finished off... More

We had reservations for dinner as one of our party had been to this restaurant previously. Yes, bring your credit card and don't focus too much on the prices as they are steep. The food is incredible on so many levels. The ambience is subtle and respectful. The servers are professionals and try to ensure you have the best possible... More

This place is absolutely amazing! I recommend making a reservation. The food is really creative. The chef takes historical dishes and makes them really accessible. I recommend the Tipsy Cake Spit Roast Pineapple!
