Superb steaks. Pricy as don't include sides or sauce. Staff incredibly attentive and very professional. £200 for two of us sharing a starter and dessert, two mains and only one bottle of wine and a few beers. But really good. Noisy restaurant and bar but good atmosphere.

My wife and I had a meal here on Saturday afternoon and must say fairly disappointed!! We went for the chateaubriand which was very tasty but very misleading price wise .. So be careful .. We were charged £123 just for that !!!! With a few vegetables a couple of beers and 2 rum and Cokes .. A total bill... More

Came here for a celebratory dinner. Staff are great, explained the different steaks and flavours well and drinks arrived promptly. We'd been waiting max 20 mins for our starters (but we were happily chatting away with our drinks) and the waiter came over and apologised profusely and said because we'd waited so long, our starters were on the house! They... More

I was pretty disappointed that a place that specialises in steak failed to cook both myself and my friend's blue requests. It was rare right in the centre and medium rare on the edges. I really liked the macaroni cheese though, that was nicer than the steak

Hawksmoor is one of the best Steak Houses in London. The sides are fantastic and the wine list is very extensive. It's not cheap but neither is a Ferrari, and we would all love to drive one at least once in our lifetime! So go ahead and try this wonderful restaurant at least once!

This excellent steak restaurant in the middle of London is situated in an old cellar and provides an escape from the city bustle above ground. Of course this place has it's own atmosphere and its popularity means there are no empty areas (and you'll probably have to book). On blackboards on the wall are lists of cuts you can buy... More

We visited on a Sunday night for dinner. We arrived a little earlier than our reservation, so we were seated in the bar until our table was ready. We ordered 2 cocktails which were great, and so was the service - attentive and knowledgeable. Then we visited the main hall for the dinner. The food we tried was impeccable and... More

We heard about this particular restaurant on trip advisor and decided to give it a go despite some reviews being negative. This restaurant is very out of the way, nothing that you can just stumble across without actually knowing it is there. However there is a reason for that, when entering you can tell that it should have all outstanding... More

So many people recommended this restaurant , that we made a reservation for our last night in London. By 5 pm people were already streaming into the very large rather casual dining room. But there is nothing casual about the service...the staff is incredibly attentive ensuring you select the best menu and beverages for your taste. The Express menu is... More
