Fancied an Indian meal, saw the light, went in... If we had the energy to walk straight out again we would have, but for amusements sake we decided to stay. The first thing I noted was the mold and sorry state of the salt and pepper pots. "REALLY? I am definitely not ordering meat in here", so popadoms - served... More

Served cold food and waiters disappeared into a back room so weren't able to inform them. Rude staff, at one point one waiter just put food down on the table and walked away with a word. Would not recommend!

This is by far the most tasteless meal I've ever had. The Mango Lassi tasted like milk with sugar and artificial mango flavor. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken was just completely tasteless. When we complained and said we didn't like the food they made us pay for the whole meal!!!!! And we had had one sip of the... More

Very pleasant meal. Only problem is if you are looking at the menu in the window they come out and try to persuade you to eat there. We were going to anyway but it can be off putting

I Came in and sat down a bit before the dinner rush. I was promptly asked if I wanted a drink maybe a beer. I declined and asked for tap water. They semi-sneered and walked away. A few other individuals and groups of people came in and were seated. The waiter still didn't bring a menu or water until after... More

Went here tonight for dinner. Ordered the classic Chicken Tikka Masala comfort food, plain rice and a peshwari naan. When the food came it looked ok, but when I tasted it the rice was cold and the curry was barely warm. This was annoying as the curry had some taste, but was too cold to be enjoyable. As I was... Enticed in by a member of staff who when we were looking at menu outside told us how brilliant they were for their price - after reviewing their menu for ourselves it did look very good value for money including a menu of 3 courses for 3 ppl minus drink for 5p short of £42 After walking down the street... Dining alone I found the staff very welcoming. Had a starter, main and sides and all was very good quality and cooked very well. Will definitely return on my next visit to the area.

This restaurant seemed to have quite a few customers in so we thought we would give it a try. What a mistake. The service was ok, but the food was absolutely disgusting, very bland, hardly any meat loads of sauce and onion. We have had much better curries from the supermarket! And very overpriced, but watch out....the menu on display... More

Had a lovely dinner, went with the suggested set menu for two. The food was brilliant, tasty, spicy and full of Indian flavour and the service was outstanding. Friendly and welcoming, informative, not overly suggestive and very attentive.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
