This is a Thank you to Morito for a Valentines Prize, we had a fabulous lunch at Morito, It was the first time we had eaten here, the waiter helped us choose some dishes which were all delicious! We will definitely recommend it 😋

My second visit and it is still the best tapas I have eaten in London. Make sure you order the deep fried chickpeas and the aubergine. Every dish we tried was amazing, from Scallop and rhubarb ceviche to cubes of crispy pork belly with mojo verde. Great place with a really nice atmosphere and ambience. One of my favourite places... Even if I'm not a big fan of the "Tapas" portions and concept, the food we had was really amazing. Each dish had amazing quality ingredients treated in such a nice and simple way but with new and exciting combinations. I loved the fact that each dish was a new twist on mediterranean ingredients. A must go (probably better in... More

Similar to its bigger brother Moro, Morito has a way of bringing amazing flavours together in creative dishes! I highly recommend the orange wine.

I'm often in London with work and this is one of my fave places. Staff are always friendly and willing to make suggestions. I love the pork belly and the bread is superb. Do yourself a favour and go early as it can get very busy.

Truly one of the worst culinary experiences in London - the Morito special @£40 per head. Food (very basic, very, very rustic is probably worth tops £5 tops, it showed little flavour, no culinary ability and was served with as much enthusiasm as an old dish rag. To dine under the Moro/ Morito name one might expect not to have... More

Lovely place, cozy and fun and you can choose to watch the cooking if you sit on the bar or chat on tables - tiny and squeezed but it makes it even more exciting! My favourite would be the fried chick peas - dont try it at home they fly all over the kitchen :) and the crispy pork belly... More

Tiny tapas bar next door to their parent restaurant, Moro. We went early one Saturday evening - they don't appear to take reservations so you just have to turn up and hope. Luckily there was a table for four available. The seating is cramped - small tables and hard little stools so my back and that of the lady at... More

This restaurant is tiny! I booked for two of us for lunch about a week in advance and asked for "proper" chairs with backs (which they borrow from Moro next door). We were a bit cramped in a corner in a small but very full room, they squeeze in as many customers as possible. The food is wonderful from the... More

Small, friendly and trendy tapas bar. Really interesting mix of dishes. Quiet a few I haven't tried before and I regularly eat out at Spanish restaurants (although they also do some classics as well). You can book for lunch which I would advise.

Thank Daniel B

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
