This must be the poorest curry I have eaten in a long time. There was very little sauce and the lamb was awful leathery kebab meat. They don't sell alcohol which is not a bad thing but I saw few people caught out! Some of the tables are squeezed into a passageway with very little space. And its not cheap!... More

Luckily we were sat at the window because as more customers arrived the restaurant became a bit cramped. Our starters & mains were very tasty, come here hungry as the portions are big. No drinks licence but you can BYO, I popped across the street to get a couple of Cobra beer. Service was good with the staff being friendly... More

We ordered Roti, Nan, Lamb Curry, Dhal, Biryani Rice and finished off with Indian Milk Tea. Taste is pretty good, place crowded, service is fast and friendly. Overall experience was good.

Cannot fault the food, very tasty and piping hot, but the service was so fast it seemed that the waiters just wanted you to eat and leave as quickly as possible, which was a shame. The decor is very pleasant and plenty of parking at the rear. Probably won't go back as i imagine there are more places which won't... More

THE WORST Indian meal I have EVER eaten!!! (And I eat it very regular)! The meat in the Lamb Rogan Josh was sliced off a kebab stick and thrown in a sauce!!! Very cramped seating. Flat Coca Cola! Absolute waste of time and Money considering there must be some fabulous Indians around this area!!!!

I live in the curry capital of the UK, Bradford! The Maharaja provided me with a curry worthy of any I have tasted in Bradford, it was tasty and made with some real love and care - well done indeed an excellent experience

Maharajah is a nice Indian restaurant located in the active area of Queensway/Bayswater Road. The restaurant offers a nice neighborhood feel and a good selection of food with friendly service.

Another truly miserable experience in Queensway. Went there because my friend would not eat Chinese (daft!) and can honestly say that it was the worst Indian I have ever had....and I've had some bad ones over the years. Nothing good to say about the place, which is like a railway carriage. Also, it looked like the waiter did the cooking.

The owner of the souvenir shop next door to this restaurant recommended it, so we tried it. We ordered one shrimp and one chicken dish, and asked that one of them have the coconut milk flavor. The flavors of several dishes were explained to us by our very friendly waiter, and we were not disappointed. He suggested the garlic naan,... More
