Lovely food and not too badly priced. Beer in a bottle was nice too. My only slight negative is the fact that not one member of staff was Vietnamese. Not even the chef who popped up to get a drink. So maybe it's not that authentic.

We visited Upper Street branch with my son and a friend. We all had different things. Food came quickly and was very tasty. Reasonably priced too

This place is incredible priced, food is so tasty and overall nice atmosphere. Suitable for all occasions. Friendly staff. Would return again as the food, specially the vegetarian spring rolls are to die for.

You are welcomed warmly into this small, friendly restaurant. The service is good and there is a clear menu giving plenty of choice. There is a short wine list and they serve at least four Asian beers. The food was fresh and very tasty - definitely cooked to order. They are open throughout the day and offer great value for... Loved dinner here last night. We had noodle soup and we were delighted with the heat of the chilli (my wife is half Indonesian) and the bunch of herbs given on the side to sunk in. Delicious. Mariko the Finnish waitress couldn't have been more helpful. We were looking at the menu outside, she popped her head out of the... More

We were sadly disappointed because the food was just average. We found the flavours were either bland or they just didn't match. Of course, we don't eat asian food often so we may just not be accustomed to certain flavours. Going into Chinatown was cool and we enjoyed the atmosphere but would I recommend this restaurant?

I really enjoy the good, some plates are really delicious but i am quite disaopoiment with the staff . I am not sure if they are a group of inexperienced workers or just unfriendly people.

Watched it with my own eyes when I was waiting for my own take-out. I may just be a coincidence that the morning after eating Pho I was seriously ill. Other than the above, I find their noodles great, less so their chicken wings, but love their pork and prawn crispy rolls.

Great food, very friendly and efficient service and overall good value. The only thing to remember is that this area is ultra busy in the week with office workers and so you'll find it hard to rock up and get a table between 12.30 and 2 - so if you can have a late lunch that's usually a good idea.... Had a meal here at about 3 o'clock on a Friday after the lunchtime rush. I had meatballs followed by the prawn, beef and tofu pho in a really tasty beef stock. My friend had the prawn spring roll followed by the "xao" stir fry. Everything tasted fresh and properly spiced and our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. For 2... More

We specialise in the Vietnamese national dish, pho, an amazingly tasty and nutritious noodle soup, as well as other wonderful Vietnamese foods, coffees (served Vietnamese style including the renowned weasel coffee! ), beers and fresh juices. A small, cosy cafe, it seats around 35 and offers take-away. The kitchen here is tiny so the menu is slightly shorter than at our subsequent branches.

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
