Gathered with work friends for a leaving do. Booked in advance to arrive and find that they hadn't prepared enough places for our party. We were presented with a £35 set menu which included a few 'small' plates and then chose a main course and...More

This was the first place we ate at during our brief stay in London. We had a delicious brunch here. The atmosphere was very friendly and didn't seem touristy at all (which we liked). The music was a bit loud, but the food was great.

I've been here once before last year actually and food was amazing then and ate there again in past week and the experience topped it even more . The portions are just right I feel Quinoa salad, sea bass and deserts were so flavourful that...More

I had looked up somewhere nice to have brunch with my friend and had chosen caravan based on some decent reviews. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what I had hoped for. I had a combination of aubergine purée, poached eggs and yoghurt and to my amazement...More

I have been here before with my wife and went again for lunch with a couple of friends last week. The food is still excellent, we shared everything - delicious cornbread, spicy cauliflower, mackerel, labneh and meatballs. We all agreed every dish was delicious but...More

Good points: beautiful food; fast service; reasonable value for money Sad points: very noisy; and plates cleared away the moment you put the last morsel in your mouth There was no queue so why the push to move you on??? A great place to eat...More

After an absence of six years we are pleasantly surprised at the significant improvement in English coffee quality (although why the 'large' bit of 'large flat white' is so hard remains a mystery) and find ourselves prone to patronising 'almost of Antipodean standard' comparisons. There...More

Having had lunch before a matinee we didn't want much before the evening theatre and Caravan was perfect. A good selection of cocktails and other drinks. An interesting and unusual selection of 'small' plates. Attentive staff who didn't hassle were pleasant and efficient.

Great food, a lot of choice, service is young and very attentive. They have been super nice with us and gave us a table in the sun. We were starving and they served us very quickly. There was a little misunderstanding on one plate we...More

Not the most comfy place, visited on a cool spring day and kept my coat on. The food is just weird, I just don't know what the theme is other than weird. Smoked salmon was enjoyable (some Japanese flavours in there) but not so fond...More

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky

Located in vibrant, pedestrianised exmouth market, caravan is a bright and airy space with glazed frontage on two sides and an outside terrace on the market. Serving our signature well travelled breakfast and all day food and drink menus, and freshly roasted coffee from our in house coffee roastery, our style is relaxed, open and friendly. Come for a coffee with the morning paper or a cocktail and small plates in the evening or anything in between!
