Excellent menu and food, great service and reasonable price for a nice meal; not crowded and has excellent view of the river. Very nice place.

The place itself looks quite fancy, though during the time we were having dinner the customers at the bar were really loud and the staff did not do anything. Apart from that the food was quite good. I had the duck and the crème brûlée....More

All good. Lovely view overlooking the Thames, attentive staff and great food - fabulous prices too. The Garlic naan and the cocktails are particularly good.

Came here with my girlfriend with a voucher for a bottomless brunch. Having been to a few previously, this was a bitter disappointment. The hostess seemed more obsessed with saving as much prosecco as possible than ensuing we had a good day time. Every time...More

My wife and I had a dinner here for my 50th birthday and the quality of the food was excellent and the service was amazing. They even baked a birthday cake for me

Their cheesecake and creme brulee were awesome and the main courses had a good variety to suit all palates.

Went on a Friday evening for a family dinner. The menu is a weird combination of Indian and Thai? Not wholly sure. Although reasonably extensive it felt limited at the same time. Not enough variation or vegetarian options. Waiter/ess service was disjointed and disappeared entirely...More

Hi there. I can only report on my recent experience, which is what I did. Personally, I would never eat there again. I know that some people have left positive reviews and the place is still in business after all. However... More

Set inside London's most exclusive eco-friendly hotel, Rafael on the Left Bank, Banyan on the Thames is a chic restaurant overlooking the river and the London Helipad in Battersea. With so much action right outside its sound-proofed windows, this is a fantastic place to watch the world go by. And super-tanned sun-lovers adore the riverside roof terrace for summertime dining. The Hotel Rafayel is popular with an international, glamorous yet ecologically-sensitive set of travellers, and the Banyan on Thames is open to serve them and you - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is a melange of European, Asian and Mediterranean flavours, fusion cuisine at its finest. Favourite dishes here include the duck confit in a ginger and lime sweet and sour sauce; the mango and papaya salad with curry chicken; and the Barcelona traditional fish soup. Banyan on the Thames makes the most of the peace and tranquillity of its ideal riverside location.
