Had our works Christmas party here, and were told we would have an area cordoned off, but this turned out to be the balcony, which was a bit cramped for 20 odd. The place was also so crowded and noisy downstairs you couldn't hear anything....More

Reduced range of real ales due to "under ordering'....also reduced range of pies on the menu...the ones I did settle for ordering were a bit on the stingy side size wise...especially with only a few chips and a spoonful of veg to accompany the smallish...More

This landmark building of the same name was a bank once upon a time . The beauty of the building was my reason to go there . The priest place is a pub - good beer with chips . The prices are high and the...More

My wife and I went to this pub for a pre-theatre meal – we walked into the City rather than the West End for a change. Arriving a little after six in the evening the place was still busier than I expected for a Friday....More

Food average. Ordered bread starter, very small didn't think they could be serous. Lasagne really running. Breakfast bun basic hard bread and no garnish with anything. Portions basic and small. Very disappointing. Sharing platter for very small people. Nothing special. Won't go back

Thank you for the review, however, I am unsure you have the right venue. We do not serve lasagne or breakfast. Thank you for taking the time to write a review, Sarah

What a place to eat! That alone gives this place kudos, but the food is great too! FYI we found best value parking at Bouverie St, EC4Y 8DP

The inside if this old Bank is very interesting, & the high ceilings make it cool on a hot day. This pub has a garden which is rare in this area however the tables appear rarely cleared (the remnants of someone else's meal can sit...More

Nice building. But I don't do mice. First noticed by some French people sat next to us who screamed. Then saw one running towards our table and another one appear shortly after. We notified the bartender, who said they knew about them - didn't seem...More

Beautiful old historic building with most decorative ceiling, gallery etc. Nice atmosphere, very good staff and quick service, lovely pint of Fullers ale! The pies seemed to be the specialty of the house so we chose them! Chicken and chorizo, and beef steak and ale...More
