We walked pass this place and my other half insisted we go in and try something different. I wasn't to sure at first as it seem cramped and not so appealing. However, service was great, starters and mains came out very quick. We ordered the standard cheesy garlic bread for starters and the Penne Arrabbiata for mains. The Pasta was... More

Lovely little genuine Italian restaurant near Baker St station. Great dishes at a good price, two main meals with a carafe of house wine and water for under 40 pounds. Food was cooked fresh and served hot with italian bread sticks and olives to pick at first. The boss was typical italian and he had friends eating so a great... More

Quite small with "patio" out the back. Calamari nice and succulent, spaghetti carbonara cooked well, prawn risotto excellent and steaks very good (try pepper sauce). Friendly staff and family atmosphere. Highly recommended

In a typical Italian atmosphere, this real trattoria is an excellent option for the area around Baker Street Underground. We had just a steak with green pepper sauce and a bottle of red wine. The steak was perfectly cooked (medium) and the red wine was fantastic - Villa Antinoli Classico Reserva 2012. Services were good, but can be better comparing... More

A pal and I have been meeting up in this part of London for an informal evening for a good few years; a few beers and a nice meal. We put the world right over dinner at various establishments. Now we have finally decided to end our nomadic traits by making Casa Becci our regular. Why? Well we have tried... More

We used to go to this restaurant when it was run by an Italian family. The older couple were welcoming. Now, the food is still good and the service bordering on unpleasant. We only wanted a glass of wine because it was a school night and it was served in a kitchen glass. Those people who had ordered a bottle... More

Found this little gem accidentally. Staying in a hotel just off Baker St and came across it whilst wondering around. Small restaurant, everything cooked from fresh, and you could tell. It was delicious. The homemade panna cotta was to die for. Friendly staff and not over bearing. Easy going atmosphere. And very reasonably priced. If you're looking for a quaint... More

Small, friendly hosts, good service, a more than reasonable wine list and a menu of good quality, italian classic dishes - they could have been more imaginative with the menu, but the quality was very good.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
