Came here for a date where we were celebrating some good news. A little on the splurge side of prices for me, and the service was good but didn't match that. I loved the octopus I got and had some good drinks.

From outside the atmosphere seemed nice so we went in. Ordered a bottle of red wine which was neither cheap nor passable. The waitress recommended the Pulpos Encebollados so we went for it. Well, the rice was a bit pressed because of the fingers of the waiter who brought it (unbelievable) and the fish was old and chewy. We paid... More

It's a fairly small spot, and rather inconspicuous despite being on the a main road, but the food and service here is excellent. Not really a spot for a large group, but you can't go wrong for a you and a few friends. In this current trend of burrito places popping up everywhere, it's nice to have a spot offering... More

Wend there for dinner and was very disappointed with the service and food. The pulled fork fajitas that we ordered were just tortillas with cheese, almost no hind of pulled pork. Was a big disappointment for us as cocktails were really lovely. Would not recommend this place to eat, very pricey for what you get.

Having booked a table for 4 people at 5pm before going to a gig, we sort of expected the restaurant to be empty, so we weren't bothered when it was. We were shown to a horrible hidden table by the toilets at the back, despite the fact that there was nobody else there. We were told as soon as we... More

On a visit to London to meet our daughters we called in here on the off chance of a free table, really wish we had eaten the street food at Spitalfields Market! I can understand why there were tables free. The starters were okish but expensive for what it was. The main courses were terrible - no way were the... More

Too often Mexican food is greasy, tasteless and normally comes with 'el paso' in the title or with cheeky music and a sombrero wearing waiter/waitress in this country. Thankfully, this restaurant is far, far from this. Genuinely tasty, authentic food. Friendly waiting staff and great drinks menu. Food menu is short which I like. Food was fresh and packed with... I have been coming to Boho for a couple of years now, have brought colleagues, friends and family. This time it was for a quick work day lunch and it didn't disappoint. I recommend drinking micheladas (beer with tomato juice, lemon juice and mild chillies, GREAT for hangovers) with the food. The tortilla chips and guacamole to start with, then... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
