Windows now! Aside from a much larger space this year, nothing much has changed in the 15 years we've been coming here.

Last time, really. I love western ramen so much, I decided -again- to buy seafood and pork ramen from this wagamama, which is the nearest home. They have never been great, but the quality of food has fallen during last months. Ramen arrived late, with no package nor sticks (just the bowls! But this is a deliveroo problem). The bowls... In this city of largely meh restaurants/pubs serving stodgy and semi fancy barely average food, this chain serves predictably good, tasty meals. This chain failed in Australia as it couldn't cut the mustard of excellent Asian/pan-Asian fare, but thank god it's here in London! Please stay!!!

We, the family, went into this btanch of the chain for a lunch and we were not disappointed. Prices reasonable for the area, service-food/valuea ratio great. There were tiny things that have been forgotten about, like sauces or sides, but that has not compromised our satisfaction (although it makes me unable to award 5*). Really accommodating kids-which is a great... More

Thought from the name it would be another burger place, how wrong. Mixture of Asian foods, if you like Chinese, Indian, Tai, you will be very pleased. Very friendly and helpful staff, reasonably priced. Limited red wines option.

An excellent evening meal in good company with excellent service. We had several examples of their standard menu and everything was excellent and the green tea was free.

I've always loved Wagamama so was really upset with my Pad Thai Salad (new to the menu apparently). A very small bowl of dressing that had absolutely no flavour, I was reduced to putting soy sauce on the salad to give it some taste. 6 prawns in a bowl of salad costing £10.75 and, after I had left I remembered... I came to dine here last week whilst staying at the hotel opposite. Really really lovely friendly staff and the food was top notch too! Another thing that I noticed was how great the music was this particular night! Random but true

First night in London this definitely hit the spot. Friendly staff good value ample portions. Teriyaki chicken and pad Thai were excellent as were steamed dumplings. Highly recommended.

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
