What a lovely way to spend Sunday afternoon. We were fortunate to get a table in the second room, right by the fireplace. From the moment we sat down i could feel the relaxation blanket around me. Choose from champagne, wine, mulled wine, cocktails.... Two of us had the beef, which was perfectly cooked. The chicken was excellent and moist.... More

Well known British restaurant in Soho. I have been twice in last five months and the result has always been the same. The British style furniture is probably the best thing, The food is good but not special and not good value for money. The service is the worst thing. The receptionist looks at you from top to botton and if... More

When we arrived my reservation couldn't be found. It seemed the lady helping us hadn't made our reservation but her log in had been used. After a few minutes of confusion we were shown to a table. The description of townhouse conjures up an image of a by-gone era of grandeur and decadence. For me, this was the opposite: packed,... More

Went for a post-theatre dinner, as the place is open late and were taking orders past 11 pm. – which is unusual for London as even though restaurants advertise themselves as being open till midnight, last orders could easily be at 10.30 p.m. or earlier. We tried the Venison Hot Pot and the Roast Chicken. The food was delicious and... More

Very welcoming, cosy English and quiet place for an afternoon tea. Large selection of good tea, delicious sandwiches and pasteries.

I have been at Dean Streen Townhouse for the Afternoon tea. The selection of tea was endless!! could satisfy any preference. Among the many afternoon teas you may experience in London is among the cheapest ones, nonetheless is one of the best. We have been provided with a selection of snadwiches and a countless number of buiscuits, cakes, and dessert... More

Terrible food rib eye steak & chips with a side order of spinach ... the steak was like chewing a rubber shoe, the spinach was cold and the chips have never been chips, they where frozen oven cooked French fries...the waiter said everything is home made... no chance.. great bar, which is why I gave it 1 star but I... We visited this busy restaurant for Sunday lunch with a reservation. We were seated in an alcove at the back away from the main dining room, which was a shame. We went for two course Sunday roast menu for £25 pp. I chose mushroom soup, which was a big portion, but very rich and tasty. The bread portion was quite... More

The food was very good, tasty and well cooked but it was a bit of a shocker when the bill came. Lively atmosphere and good service but 12.5% is a bit steep for the service we received. The bar was a bit of a let down as on the website it looks like it has its own area with fancy... More

Went for brunch with friends. Had to ask 4 times for someone to take our order. Really surly waitress bordering on rude. Food was good though took ages to come.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
