The Minories is placed below the railway tracks. Inside a huge room with lots of space and place, and at the back a small terrasse with outside serving. Huge food selection - eatable, but not the very best quality. Lots of beer choices. Service slow and very uninterested in the customers! Worth a visit when close to The tower Bridge... More

This place is really a 'must go'. It has excellent variety of beers and the food list is quite good at a reasonable price.

Our first local pub stop for dinner. Disappointed in the "chips" which were what we know in USA as frozen French Fries. Beef pie good. Mushy peas not to our liking. Local beer good. Service good.

Great chilled out bar to grab a beer and watch some sport on the many TV's dotted about the bar. The burgers are great I can thoroughly recommend the ultimate burger if you feeling a little hungry.

We had a few pints here recently and a bite to eat in this interesting pub set beneath the arches of the railway line overhead. The atmosphere was vibrant, the bar staff were fantastic with a good selection of beer and cider on tap. The food was quite good too

Was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meal. Great steaks and sausages with real mash. Good, friendly and speedy service. The puds were great too. All at reasonable prices. Plenty of atmosphere but go early as gets very busy - obviously Londoners know a good thing when they find it.

We came here for an early dinner and drinks during our bank holiday in London. Great beer selection, and the bartending staff was helpful with helping us choose. We both got burritos, which were maybe not the best thing we could have ordered, but que sera. The atmosphere was great, they had football on all the televisions, and there was... More

The pub itself has a good selection of beers and has good potential however the staff are not friendly and as a customer made to feel like a nuisance. Bar service is terrible and slow food service. Coffee was cold we didn't stick around to wait for our breakfast can't believe it can take 30 minutes for a bit of... More

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
