We managed to get street parking outside although it is limited. We had booked but ended up being stuck in traffic and running late and so rang the restaurant to inform them. They were most accommodating. We were shown to our table on arrival and...More

The food and hygiene is very important to me when choosing a restaurant, I must say this restaurant exceeds both with excellence. The tasty aromatic duck is shredded for you at the table, the mains are generous portion especially the laksa, it's also one of...More

Food was well made. The rice was however a bit overcooked. In the end good food. Really beautiful restaurant on the inside.

This is a fantastic little Chinese restaurant with a good menu, average price for the area and better than anything in nearby Queensway. Next door to one of our favourite pubs, The Victoria. I usually order Beef Rendang, a mild Malaysian curry, it is very...More

We've eaten here twice and on both occasions have left the restaurant vowing to spend more time in London, notably in the vicinity of this charming restaurant, where the service is slick, witty and attentive and the food beautifully prepared and inviting.

What a great find! Fabulous Chinese food with really great service. We were a bit nervous about trying this restaurant, it's near a family members home and no one we know had tried it so tonight we thought we would give it a go! The...More

We came here twice for dinner following a Malaysian's recommendation. We particularly liked the chicken tofu clay-pot, and the sambal prawn was perfectly done.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. The first time was ok, but the food was good so we decided to return. I have never experienced such rudeness in a restaurant in my entire life - such an awful experience, we...More

Like shoe designing, whipping up a great dish is an art, says Jimmy Choo who has ventured in to the world of food with Maximini, an oriental restaurant near Hyde Park where the celebrity shoe smith is bringing a slice of his Malaysian home to Britain. As beautifully dressed as any of Jimmys A-list clients, Maximini is simplistic and chic with a hint of old fashioned colonial style which perfectly suits its fabulous Bayswater address. The irresistible Malaysian dishes are fused with more familiar Chinese flavours by master chef Albert Koh, to produce an innovative and exciting menu which, like a timeless pair of heels, looks set to become this seasons must-have.
