A pretty expensive Chinese restaurant, but the food is top quality and very flavorful. If you are an American, it may surprise you that you'll have to order rice, soup, etc. separately, at an additional cost.

If you're a fan of shoes, then head to Jimmy Choo's own Malaysian restaurant. It's tucked away in Paddington. Great interior and atmosphere and it's halal. I ordered the chicken dumpling soup and crispy beef (which was a dish that was recommended by others). I've to agree that it was really good. We shared veggie spring rolls and my sister... More

I have eaten here twice and on both occasions was made very welcome, with attentive and thoughtful service. The food is cooked with some finesse and portion sizes are large - good for sharing between two people. The menu is simple but interesting and I've enjoyed everything I've served. It's a stone's throw from Hyde Park and Paddington and a... More

The interior looks nice, but don't be fooled by it. Tom Yam soup was nothing but a boiled tap water with couple of prawns floating in it. When asked about coconut milk, etc. the person who appeared to be in charge tried to convince me this is what tom yam is supposed to be and then forgot English. Possibly ok... More

My friend recommended this restaurant. I arrived early and requested to be seated. The waiter asked if I had a reservation and I replied that my friend had called and booked a table with the head waiter. It was 7pm and he said just wait for 15 mins to speak to the head waiter since he was at dinner. I... More

Very kind man servicing us. He speaks many languages and brought flower cucumbers to our son. Dishes were big and tasty. I would definitely go back when I visit London again. Price though is a bit high, as we didn't order any drinks

This Chinese restaurant is tucked away in a small side road in central London. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Loved the crispy beef.

Excellent restaurant, superb food, and being in central London prices are relatively cheap, wider range of Chinese food available (Duck, lamb, Chicken, Prawn etc), portions are quite filling for a person, Restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming, staff excellent and as said above food was very good. We pre-booked the table recommended if your going on weekend very busy.... More

Like shoe designing, whipping up a great dish is an art, says Jimmy Choo who has ventured in to the world of food with Maximini, an oriental restaurant near Hyde Park where the celebrity shoe smith is bringing a slice of his Malaysian home to Britain. As beautifully dressed as any of Jimmys A-list clients, Maximini is simplistic and chic with a hint of old fashioned colonial style which perfectly suits its fabulous Bayswater address. The irresistible Malaysian dishes are fused with more familiar Chinese flavours by master chef Albert Koh, to produce an innovative and exciting menu which, like a timeless pair of heels, looks set to become this seasons must-have.
