Came here based on location by our hotel by Victoria Station. The main pub was quite crowded every time we passed by. We ate in the downstairs restaurant area where we were lucky enough to grab a free table. Food was good and decently priced. They seemed to specialize in sausages - and all the ones we tried were good.... More

Called here with my wife before seeing wicked at the Apollo theatre Victoria. We sat in the dining area downstair and had some great pub grub. I had the mixed grill which was all cooked well and my wife enjoyed the Shropshire roast chicken. Good portions and well priced. Service was friendly and attentive.

We went to this pub after a football game based on Rick Steve’ guide – "best pub food" – and found it more like standard pub food. I had sausage and mash and my wife had fish & chips and both were about as you’d expect from a pub: ok, tasty, not great. The beer was fine, nice pub atmosphere... More

We got In about 1.00pm hoping to be out by 2.00pm for an appointment nearby. We were ignored for about 15 minutes and I then went to the bar to ask if anyone would come and take my order. A grumpy man in Santa's tee shirt started to answer that they would come eventually. I asked if I could order... More

Visited this pub several times during our stay in the Victoria area . We ate dinner from a large and varied menu and 7 people of differing ages and nationalities were all able to find something which they enjoyed. We also had breakfast there too which was equally as good and also just went for drinks . Overall and extremely... More

We visited the st George's tavern for a 3 course meal before going to watch Wicked at the Apollo Victoria. The food was amazing and we were served really quickly. All of our needs were met by Robin, who was friendly and extremely efficient... a credit to your team. Would definitely recommend 😁

A nice pub very close to our hotel and the Victoria Station. The décor is old fashioned and it had a nice ambience. Ended up staying in here for a few drinks before retiring to our hotel. Also ate here on a Sunday and the food was decent and reasonable priced.

Typical British pub food . Ground floor is pub and the basement is food. The sausages and mash potatoes were good. The steak was average and the fish and chips were dry and tasteless. Hence a variety of good to not so good food . Price was reasonable and the portions were large. Typical pub food for filling the tummy... More

We were 40ish and we got the doiwnstairs booked for a company Xmas lunch. They put tables completely separated from each other. The service was dire. Some people waited 20 minutes for their food. My plate of salmon looked like an appertizer. It' s not like we hadn't chosen our menu 2 weeks beforehand!

Thank Chantal V

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques.
