They told us we had to be out in just over an hour, then they ignored us for twenty minutes before taking our order. Two chipped teapots were offered with broken spouts. I asked for them to be changed and suggested they throw them away...More

The venue is perfectly acceptable, but the tables are too close together, and being seated at the bottom of the stairs, close to the toilet with a lot of traffic knocking my chair was poor. The food is OK. Service was fine. The prices are...More

This is a truly authentic Italian restaurant in Marylebone close to Durrants Hotel and the Wallace Collection. We have only sat upstairs where there are few tables--adjacent to an outside window and have enjoyed the tranquillity and ambiance of this space. Downstairs is a much...More

Truffle, truffle, truffle. Their truffle burrata, truffle risotto, and truffle pizza are amazing! If you are truffle/mushroom addicted-like me- this is a hidden gem for you. Their prices are completely competitive and they are very generous with the black truffle portions in each dish! Highly...More

Food and ambiance is great. Service is attentive and the menu has something for everyone. If you can sit upstairs and outside it's great. Downstairs is a bit dark but still great service. Pastas, pizza, appetizers are yum and easy to share. Mains are good...More

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it

Il Baretto Wine Bar and Restaurant in London's very happening Marylebone Village is another winner from the stable of restaurateur Arjun Waney, who brought you the stellar Roka, Zuma and La Petite Maison. If you're looking for a super Italian cuisine and would like to avoid both chain restaurants and designer price tags, Il Baretto in Blandford Street is an excellent choice. Located between Marylebone High Street and Baker Street, Il Baretto has a smart wine bar located on the ground floor and a cavernous basement dining room that is a stylish restaurant for group parties and celebrations. Popular with a local crowd, as well as with tourists and shoppers from Bond Street, this restaurant serves up authentic Italian recipes and we love the spaghetti con astice with lobster, sweet chilli and garlic sauce, and the risotto ai carciofi, a creamy artichoke risotto. Pizzas and dishes from the robata grill are winners too.
