Overall: Average - fancy paint, food was just dumped on the plate, scrambled eggs a bit liquid but friendly staff. The scrambled eggs (without toast), smoked salmon and extra Avocado was 12 GBP in total. The scrambled eggs been pretty liquid, the salmon was good and the avocado was a bit hard. Overall the presentation was pretty poor. The staff... More

Tucked out of the way in the back corner of Kensington Square, one could easily miss this place. But if you happen to be i the area, it's worth a visit. It has an informality about it, almost a community feel, but then I doubt its location favours it with a great deal of passing trade, so likely a lot... More

Nice brunch place in a beautiful area! We walked to the cafe from Bayswater through Hyde Park, which was a perfect start for the day! Recommend to book a table. Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royal as well as the granola where quite basic but tasty.

On a recent stay in this area my friend and I tracked down this amazing place to have breakfast as soon as it opened on Sunday morning. It is obviously extremely popular and was nearly full within half an hour! Fresh orange juice and the coffee were excellent and choice of food extensive. English breakfast was hearty and well cooked... More

Fantastic little cafe away from the hustle of the high street, the coffee is by far the best I have tasted around the area & the pancakes with berries and yogurt are divine! Everything is reasonably priced & the staff are attentive & friendly.

Food was ok. A little pricey and the staff were NOT very friendly or welcoming. Could do with a more friendly approach and opening up a bigger better menu for a more reasonable price. It's worth walking back 30 meters to wholefoods instead. They have a better selection of fine food upstairs.

Great place for lunch and Breakfast. My husband and i came in on Saturday and though it was a little cramped, the food was delicious and service was excellent. Will be coming again.

A friend and I arrived about 11.45am on a Friday. We weren't greeted with a polite 'hello', instead an unwelcoming 'we're no longer saving breakfast'. Ok no problem, we were happy to pick from the lunch menu. However, the experience was so disappointing that I wish we'd gone elsewhere. Cramped tables, bland soup, poor service. We had to ask for... Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
