Enjoyed an evening meal here, the fish special was very good. Nice place. The desserts were also very good quality.

I popped in for some lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the space (especially the outdoor deck) as well as the decor and of course the food and drink. I ordered the Chicken Panzanella (Italian bread salad) and it was delicious. I also had an apple juice. Great spot

I had a lovely mushroom pasta with a very good chocolate and coconut milk drink.Great place for a tasty lunch. Got a seat in the outdoor courtyard which was rather relaxing.

Great space for conversation over excellent coffee. The outdoor space is lovely when the weather's good - a great sun trap. What I love most about the Clerkenwell Kitchen is the space: we don't have to sit on top of other customers, and can have a private conversation. Lively atmosphere. And lunch is delicious!

I work at the CW workshops and always pop into the kitchen for a coffee or lunch if I am in a rush. The sandwiches and brownies are especially good. They also do great event catering too

Perfect porridge and the lovely Head Chef even sold me a Bread Roll with butter which after all is the perfect snack. We've got an office in the building so we are regular users but really the Kitchen is ideal. It's friendly, personal service, the food is cooked onsite. That's enough isn;t it. Thanks CK.

We eat here quite a lot because our office is in this block, but it's a lovely place to come. It's quite canteen-like inside with people having lunch meetings (rather than cosy and intimate), but the food is excellent and service friendly. It's also one of the few places in Clerkenwell where you can bring your dog! I ate here... More

My friends had their rehersal dinner here recently and was a lovely evening. We had private use which was great as it felt intimate. The staff were great and kept the drinks and canapés flowing. I didn't eat the main course or dessert bur all my friends said it was delicious and even went back for more. Would be interested... More

We booked the Clerkenwell Kitchen for our PA lunch as it's near the office and always reliable for good food. Unfortunately childcare arrangements let me down which meant that I had to take my 17 month old child along with me. I called ahead in advance to ensure the table was big enough to seat a high chair and was... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
