I stay at the Radisson Blu hotel frequently for business, and I always have a good stay. The breakfast is delicious, and the restaurant has a good vibe and crowd. Ryan provides fantastic service and always remembers exactly just the way I like my omelette! For late night, this is also a good spot to enjoy drinks before going out... More

We have had lunch here once before and it was very good so wanting a quick bite before the theatre (The Bank Robbery that went Wrong - high recommended) we decided to return. It is entered via the Raddison Hotel and is a very chic environment with a long bar and cosy dining area. Service is attentive without being OTT.... More

Management and staff extremely rude, very unhelpful and we were made to feel completely unwelcome. This was my first time at the Radisson in London and with such a location I really expected better! I will definitely never come back!

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Leicester Square and have already submitted a review but wanted to mention outstanding service from Ryan in the Scoff & Banter, bar/restaurant - a very friendly, helpful and interesting gentleman, a credit to the hotel.

I've never been to a restaurant where I've ordered food and had it served so plainly. Not a trace of sauce, not a garnish, not a single vegetable or herb to be seen. Just a fish on a plate. The same can be said for the lamb which appears as 5 pieces of meat alone on a plate. No sauce.... More

We looked for a restaurant pre theatre and happened upon Scoff and Banter online. Easy booking and a warm welcome when we arrived. Had a lovely table in a quiet part of the restaurant. The staff were very polite and attentive but not overly so. We started with prawn cocktail and goats cheese followed by fish pie and shepherd's pie... More

The food was quite expensive for what you got. It was connected the to Hotel and you had to go out into the lobby and down two flights of stairs to get to the toilets. The seating was cosy but the food was expensive hotel food.

Sits a great restaurant with comfortable chairs, a small but well designed menu and a bottle of drinkable Pinot noir for £22. Service was friendly professional and efficient. I am still in shock that we could be in Leicester Square and feed and water three teenagers and two adults for less than £130. Well done scoff and banter.

Went with friends on a Friday night. Whilst the drinks (cocktails, wine) were decent, the food was a best uneven. The steak pie, as others have noted, was dry and unappetising. The lamb was better. However the service was chaotic. The wrong things were delivered and it looked like the fault was with the kitchen rather than waiting staff. Overall,... More

Came here for a pink afternoon tea we had bought on LastMinute.com Very nice indeed! Staff friendly, great location and the tea did not disappoint - everything in it is pink so pink cakes, pink sandwich fillings, pink champagne. This is usually priced at £22.50 each but we got the deal which made it about £20 and under per person.... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
