I was invited for a business event on one of the top floors. Nice location, food served was good (I guess if you would go back to the restaurant (on the ground floor) the score would be the same.

After enduring 45 minutes of "theatre" we decided to leave & get a drink in the pub. It was a really warm evening & the pub was stuffy with no air conditioning, so went to sit outside. Was told we were not allowed to sit...More

A busy vibrant place to have a drink on the south bank with a good view of St. Paul's across the river.

Really nice restaurant. Very British menu with a strong selection of Cornish ingredients. Lovely view over the Southbank too.

Overall we enjoyed our visit. The service was good and the staff friendly. Very nice decor. We ordered a cheese board to share but it was very small. We later saw other sharing boards that were far bigger so perhaps we were unlucky.

As a solo traveler you rarely get the 5 star treatment. Not only did they call to confirm my reservation, they also held my table while I waited in line to get a stand by performance ticket. I had the sea bream and endive salad....More

Have now eaten in the "pub" on a couple of occasions. Interesting choice of small and large plates, not necessarily what you would expect but no complaints from as my dishes have always been great. Good choice of beers too.

We recently celebrated by Mum's 70th birthday at The Swan and were extremely impressed with the whole experience. We'd booked our table for 8 people well in advance as expected a Friday lunchtime to be pretty busy. I'd originally requested a 'special river view table',...More

We were a group of ten eating pre-theatre. Having a short limited choice menu is absolutely right. However, the food itself was somewhat boring as common consensus. I had the duck terrine, which was overly coarse and the spelt risotto. The latter looked good but...More

I went with family and had a lovely table offering views along the Thames and across to St Paul's Cathedral. The menu had a good balance of starters, mains and deserts. The food was very good and the bill fairly priced. My only point was as...More

After dining both in the upper floor more formal restaurant & the more casual bar area we were appalled when customers were allowed to let their pet dog sit at the table whilst its owners ate(only witnessed this in the bar section). When the server was questioned as to their policy on allowing dogs to sit actually on the seats meant for humans she stated it was ok.When it was brought to her attention that dogs should sit on the floor & not at the table she simply shrugged! My question is.....what is the official Swan policy for allowing pets into areas serving food & what is their policy for allowing dogs to sit on furniture meant for humans???

Did the dog misbehave? Use the wrong fork or knife? Did it use the wrong glass for water or wine? Given that some humans shouldn't be allowed to sit and dine as they have zero manners, poor hygiene and dire attitudes..... if... More
