My sister lives in London and took us here for my birthday, otherwise I would have never have known about it. Place opens 6.30, we arrived 6.15 and there was already a line. So get there early! Went in at 6.30, set menu of salad then steak and chips in their special sauce. Unbelievable! Better to do one thing and... More

We visited based on a recommendation and weren't disappointed. It was a special experience with the fixed menu and the food was very well prepared. The whole family loved it!

With no menu for mains, the option is easy and very tasty! A great Bistro style atmosphere feeling like you are taken into France everytime!

I got there early doors and there was a queue but the wait was worth it. One thing on the menu. Steak and chips . With a signature sauce I don't want to spoil the surprise but the hour to queue was worth it.Puddings vary but the chocolate sauce on the profiteroles is top notch.

No fuss. Quick service if not a tad too fast. Good portion of succulent entre cote though it used to be bigger. True to tradition matchstick style fries that makes you forget how guilty you would feel each time you are done with lunch at this charming bistro.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and we'll definitely go back again. The only inconvenience is that sometimes you have to queue for quite a while. I would say that if you're in a hurry, this might not be the place to eat. However, once again I have to emphasise how nice the meal was.

This is my 'go to' London restaurant and has been for as many years as I can remember. It is totally consistent, you know exactly what to expect and that's exactly what you get. Always tastes wonderful. I also like that you can be in and out within 60 minutes if you want. I hate extended waits between courses. Service... More

Visited with some work colleagues who had been before and was so impressed I took my family there... Its one dish and its cooked perfectly, the steak sauce was beautiful and the staff were so attentive. Once you've finished your dish the staff come and refill with more steak which was great and the fries goes perfectly with it. There... More

For those of you who like beef and dont care about looking through a long menu, this is the place for you. In South India we have the concept of a 'Thali' meal. This consists of a set number of items (usually vegetarian) that are the accompaniments to a meal of rice and sometimes wheat based breads. This restaurant serves... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
