The Cow is a very traditional pub with a cosy little restaurant upstairs. The food is traditional and the surroundings and atmosphere are fun and relaxed. This would be an excellent place for a date or dinner with friends. The service was very friendly and...More

We went today and I was expecting great things. Food was expensive. Service was friendly but not very good. They couldn’t change my meal to include new potatoes instead of mash! They arbitrarily added 15 % service charge. I said I wasn’t happy with the...More

On a recent trip to London we met some friends at The Cow for drinks...that turned into dinner. I was a little leery about eating at a pub, just because pubs get a bum rap for their food. Well, let me tell you, this is...More

My new favourite place to visit whenever in London. Love the whole concept of it, being a beef fun. Pubish, homy atmosphere makes the place just perfect.

Been going to the cow for over 10 years and their fish soup has never disappointed. It is a must try for Londoners. The place is much more pricey than it would look from the outside, but quality is good.

Been a while since my last visit but the place retains it cost friendly atmosphere and continues to serve good food in the restaurant upstairs.

Absolutely *loved* the oysters and pint of Guinness special. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice decor and relaxed atmosphere; typical London layout with restaurant upstairs and pub downstairs. We sat on bench next to some locals having the beef pie, which we will definitely...More

The Cow has been a London pub favourite of mine for 25 years and it still gets it right every single time. Had two great nights on this trip and the Guinness and the Sausage & Mash are just my all time favourite. The Steak...More

Happened upon this place when looking to try something different from the identikit chain-owned gastropubs of bustling Queensway (although the Prince Alfred is quite good, if you're after something right there). We only came in for a drink, but loved the eclectic atmosphere and mix...More
