Called in to Troia for lunch and were quickly shown to a table. We opted to sit outside as it was such a nice day. Pleasant friendly staff took our order and service was prompt. Excellent food at a reasonable price considering it is London.

We frequently visit London and when we are tired out and need a little break away from the crowds, we head over to Troia for a bottle of wine and water. Service is lovely. Atmosphere inviting. Sweetest wine glasses! Although we've never had food while...More

We ended up at Troia by chance, exhausted from walking all we wanted was a glass of wine and perhaps move on. But then we ordered kabobs and salad which combined with their friendly service made our day; we stayed longer than planned and ended...More

We were looking to eat after having gone on the London eye around 8:30 pm. This place had good reviews but we were a little disappointed. They offered us a seat near the person smoking shisha outside so we sat inside. It was crowded and...More

Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a
thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National
Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the
reasons that Southbank is such a collectively
cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly
activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized
river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo
Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and

Description
This smart glass-fronted cafe, restaurant bar on Belvedere Road is neighbours with the Royal Festival Hall, Westminster Kitchen! and Chez Gerard in that cultural hot-spot, the Southbank. The 82-dishes (excluding set, special and children meals) offer a comprehensive taste of Turkey's national (healthy) diet. There's kisir, a cold starter of nuts, bulgar wheat, herbs and spring onions. Hearty mains include kuzu guvec, a lamb casserole, and a delicious mariage of runner beans and onions served with a rich tomato sauce and rice called yesil fasulye. There are fish, pasta, rice, and special veggie dishes too. Desserts make an intriguing change from treacle pudding and cheesecake. How about kaymakh kestane - sweet chestnuts sprinkled with chestnuts and served with home-made cream?
