Booked a table on a Friday night and everything went as planned. From start to finish the service was excellent. Finally a restaurant on Brick lane that knows how to operate a restaurant properly. Never pushy or rushing us after we finished our meal. The mains and veg side dishes tasted amazing and full of flavour and the rice and... More

One of the best Indian restaurants on Brick Lane, it gets crowded and loud, but the spices are as good as it gets.

We had a table of 4 booked for 8pm and brought our own drinks which the staff kindly put in the fridge for us. They then proceeded to open and give us 3 of our beers when we only wanted one, which then could not be put back in the fridge. Later on we asked for our bottle of rose,... More

We had a 2 night stay in a hotel at the end of Brick Lane which contains many Indian / Bengali restaurants - so many that it is difficult to choose where to go. After looking at reviews and talking to reception staff at the hotel we decided to give Sheba a visit. Walking along Brick Lane is to run... More

Maybe the worst service I had in a long time. Our waiter was rude and slow. Went with a group of friends. The food was average and the portions were quite small.

Work event with about 30 people in attendance and all served accurately and together. Menu choice was good and food was served as quickly as possible and was all hot and tasty. Service was friendly. Operates as on and off license and we took our own which does restrict some pre set menu choices but no drama. Good night out,... More

Maybe the worst service i had in a long time. Went with a group of 15, the starter took too long to come and they gave the main course with the starters, which i thought to be pathetic really! They rushed us, we couldn't even finish our beers. Will never return!

Wanted to have a curry on Brick Lane, but obviously needed somewhere with good veggie options. After getting pestered by many a person to go into their hopelessly meat focussed eateries, we stumbled upon Sheba. A nice range of unusual veggie mains and sides - we had the aubergine side dish and it was almost as big as a main... More

Visited with my Son on a busy Friday evening. The usual Brick Lane touts outside every restaurant trying to offer deals to get you in, but liked the fact it was already busy. After a little haggling with the guy outside over the 'best deal' he could offer, we settled on 2 free pints, a starter and 25% off the... More

I love curry and, because of of this, I have tried many different restaurants around the world. Sheba in Brick Lane, London, is one of the best curry places that I have been to! The menu is very varied and offers something to suit everyone - from the most modestly spiced food to things which are fiery and hot having... More

One of the oldest and best loved Indian restaurants in London, Sheba has been serving Brick Lane since 1974. Awarded Best Curry House in the UK in The Cobra Good Curry Guide 2015, Sheba offers classic dishes alongside signature recipes, a range of vegetarian options and Bangladeshi seafood specials. Using seasonal ingredients directly from all corners of South East Asia, the Sheba menu tantalises diners with both recognisable classics and signature specials. Only premium halal meat is used, with a selection of kebabs being a popular option to share. Tandoori recipes use carefully measured blends of spices and yoghurts, while a traditional tandoori grill showcases the Sheba restaurant jerk seasoning. As well as a great selection of vegetarian dishes, Indian seafood delicacies at Sheba Restaurant Brick Lane are an eclectic venture away from the norm that features at so many other curry houses. The staff, the Bollywood interior, add to the exotic ambience. A key part of Brick Lane, Sheba Restaurant London is just stones throw away from Shoreditch High Street Station, Liverpool Street and Aldgate East Tube.
