Ate hear on the evening of Friday 16th March with my wife. Very attentive service, good food and wine. The Venison with chocolate and raspberry sauce was particularly interesting. If we are in this area again we would definitely be tempted to eat here. RECOMMENDED.

Ate dinner with the family at this restaurant simply because it was convenient for our first night in London--turned out to be an excellent choice in its own right. Service was outstanding and the food was excellent. Would absolutely return.

Stopped in after a full afternoon at the V&A Museum, a few blocks away. The simple and comfortable dining room was comfy, the service friendly. Enjoyed the well prepared seafood especially

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

Olives Restaurant and Bar just off Gloucester Road in London's Kensington is an authentic Italian dining room which will delight lovers of Mediterranean food. Full of quirky charm, Olives is at once both chic and rustic, decorated in deep blue and furnished with simple, clean lined furnishings. Mismatched chandeliers hang from the ceilings and behind the bar the fine produce you will soon be sampling is deliciously displayed. It is as if you are suddenly transported from South Kensington to southern Italy. Italian-born Executive Chef Davide di Croce is at the helm in the Olives kitchen where he gives traditional Italian favorites his own unique twist using top quality ingredients. The set menu, perfect for lunches and pre-theatre suppers, is full of your favorite Italian dishes and the price is ridiculously reasonable. The wine list is divided into Europe with real depth in the Italian selections and The Rest of the World, and rounds off the Olives experience very well.
