We don't agree with all those postivie reviews. The food is boring, cheap to make, shallow, and not that tasty. This goes for the foccacia, calimari, vongolue and gnocchi. We reckon this restaurant this restaurant is organized to maximize profit. I would not go near this restaurant unless you are really starving. I mean it. Literally starving.

We had a great lunch here before heading to the London Eye. It was the perfect location only about a 3 minute walk away. We all had excellent food and excellent service. Very comfortable seating, bright and not too loud. It was a busy place for lunch but we were seated quickly.

Me and my family tried out this restaurant and we were amazed by the quality of the spaghetti they made. We ordered Spaghetti Carbonara, Ravioli, Risotto, and also a tomato linguine. Carbonara was so on point, that it was so creamy. Ravioli was made perfectly as well. We are more than happy to visit them again for some Italian in... More

Great food and service but the waiter told me they do not get any of the service charge automatically added to the bill. if they treat their staff like that the management do not deserve any more custom

We are in London on business with a little extra time to spare. We have dined at Locale twice now due to its location in relation to our hotel. It was fantastic on both occasions. The Carbonara is to die for. We ended up having the same waiter, Rashat, both times. He couldn't have been better. Very attentive and and... More

I've been in England for nearly 10 months now and I haven't eaten so good since ages. Me & my mum were quite happy that we found "Locale" as we saw the good qualifications outside and went in. Christian was our waiter and was very pleasant and attentive, probably the best one we could get. The pasta was delicious and... More

After a tiring time in London we wanted somewhere 'nice' to eat and were lucky to find 'Locale'. Cinzia very attentive and advised on the menu. The food was well prepared and delicious. I was quite shocked at the price of the soft drinks but we accepted that. My grandson paid the bill so didn't see the receipt straight away.... More

Relaxing atmosphere. Cinzia was our waitress and looked after us very well. She was attentive and was able to recommend a delicious wine that complimented our meals. Pizza was delicious- still the best meal that we have eaten in London. Will be back again for another meal soon!

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
