We had a business dinner for 12 people at Shepherd's and I was frankly, embarrassed by the poor standard of the food. The Dover Sole was the real culprit and came to to table full of broken bones. Obviously a problem with the filleting...but not...More

Menu was ok - not extensive but good range. Probably a little but expensive for portion size. But well cooked and good taste. Good range of wines. Would probably visit again if in area and was entertaining. Probably best to check menu in advance as...More

The food were way too overpriced, the bread really hard, the menu and the seat was dirty, and the food took a while to come to our table even if we were the first table in restaurant till our main course.

Lovely out of the way restaurant with traditional English style fare. Happy hour and early dinner menu for those on a budget. Riedel stems , Peugeot S&P , Sambonet flatware and Churchill China make an elegant presentation for your meal. Can’t wait to go back

Lovely atmospheric restaurant tucked away on a side street. The food is very nice but the menu is very meat and fish heavy so vegetarians are very limited in choice and there is nothing on the menu for vegans. However a vegan in our group...More

We booked the larger of the two private rooms at Shepherd's to celebrate a birthday. We had a great time in a lovely spacious room laid for 12 in a square with three on each side. The food was the standard a la carte menu...More

After a really quite dire roast grouse at Rules - who should know better - Shepherd's came to the rescue with a grouse served off the bone on their Specials menu at lunch. Tender, flavoursome, all the trimmings in place - special mention for great...More

Just a short walk from Westminster in a very quiet side street. Interesting menu and I selected the guinea fowl which was very well cooked and surprisingly big. Service very good and room had a nice feel to it. Aperol Spritz at £11.00 is too...More

The service was good, the food was good and the wine was good. Ordered figs and blue cheese on bitter leaves, then the Guinea fowl, sides of chips and hispi cabbage. Tasty. Very happy, will go again.

Whilst I know this has been a stalwart of the Westminster scene for many years it had perhaps become somewhat dated and out of fashion. To my surprise I found the restaurant to be very welcoming with first class service and a comfortable décor. Under...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
