The afternoon tea was a delight. The service was impeccable, and the food delicious. I perfect afternoon tea setting catering to families. The kids ate everything on their plates and asked for more. Tea and food was unlimited. The only drawback is the cost. It...More

Was staying at the hotel and dined in this restaurant. Had the traditional menu and was disappointed. The main of roast chicken was okay, nothing special and not much different from the ones you bought at the supermarket or chicken shop. Cannot now recall what...More

The beautifully decorated restaurant specialises in fresh English cuisine using locally-sourced ingredients. The menu provides a variety of choices raging...More

I had come here before and the experience was quite similar. The Afternoon Tea in the Willy Wonka style was great. My only disappointment is because everyone on tables around us were asked if they would like extra sandwiches to eat but, we were not.

Service was first rate and the food was outstanding. Give the daily "Butlers Carving Trolley" a try. The gammon ham was hand carved and served with fried eggs and steak cut fries (chips in England).

I been to the Charlie and chocolate afternoon tea and I would have to say this one is better overall! Sandwiches could have been a little better but in the plus note we could refill on sandwiches and cakes. I don't think Ian the waiter...More

world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed

London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is

"Listed in Tattlers restaurant guide 2007 under the Best of British section, Butlers Restaurant is part of the Chesterfield Hotel just off Berkley Square in the heart of Mayfair. The décor of rich reds and greens with English oil paintings is perfect for romantic dinners as well as being superb for discreet business meetings. The Sunday lunch in Butler’s restaurant is still a firm favourite, where you can enjoy succulent rib of beef from the carving trolley or a delightful trio of crème brulée. Staff are friendly in a relaxed yet formal atmosphere.

What’s cooking? Modern British fare such as calves liver and bacon with caramelised shallots and mash potato or whole Dover sole grilled and served with sauce hollandaise, witch is famed for being the best in London. Some real old time tempters for desert such as sticky toffee pudding, honeycomb ice cream, butterscotch cheese cake, all made by their own pastry chef."
