Good Value, strong cocktails at a reasonable price for London. Nothing to disappoint. The visit was perfect and the service was great. Only thing; the waiter needs to listen about how the bill needed to be split.....The split was not even, so people in the...party paid more than others despite asking for a specific split. He needed to listen, rather than rush. That is the only feedback. We were no over charged, but there was a failure in comms. Will be back for sure.More
We had a table for four. The staff were all outstanding and attentive and get top marks. The cocktails / wine and beer that we all had were very very good. Indeed as expected the cocktails were actually superb.
Unfortunately what was described as a...sea plate was a massive let down as everything was deep fried and not presented well at all, piled up and messy. I would have expected a mix of fried ( fish fingers) and grilled or pan cooked perhaps, but no. The sea plate was edible but was like something i would have expected to get at a cheap seaside pub.
I expected better.More
We booked in advance as not to miss out on a table, we live in Bath and had heard great things about the place. We were really happy to find they have live music on early in the week, so we had a live singer...playing the piano just tables away from us, such a fantastic atmosphere. The drinks are amazing, definitely recommend the Champagne Pina Colada and Apples (a must, really). We also had The Big Plate, it was the perfect charcuterie board for 2 people and tasted delicious. Was really lovely to visit and will definitely be recommending and returning when we can.More
It's like a little secret tucked away on Bethnal Green Road.. its defo one of those places that 'if you know, you know !'... Of course our friend booked the place for the wrong night... but it didn't matter.. i had one of the bet...cocktails ever served to me and it was worth it !!! The experience was enhanced massively thanks to the team there who greet you as new friends and send you off as old friends. Go seek it out !!!More
I have been to Coupette already few times, last Friday was the first time after the reopening and the team did not fault. We never waited too much for our food and drinks and the guy (Italian, don't know his name) that was at the...entrance was constantly checking if we were fine etc. Also we got some nice welcome treats, very much appreciated! Thank you and see you again :)More
Fabulous cocktail bar. Loved it from the moment we walked in. Came here specially and so glad we did.
Great atmosphere and wasn't too busy on the Saturday night.
Mixologist was friendly and helpful. Cocktails were divine and they were happy to make drinks not...on the menu.
Definitely coming back here for their development drinks on a Sunday, which are only £5 each.
The title sums it up for me really.
Really nice service, atmosphere and snacks. Cocktails were trying too hard for me.
Seemed a bit lacking on booze too. I am sure they could make some classics but the list was all a bit too showy...and the actual cocktails didn't live up to the elaborate descriptions.
Give me a French 75!More
Visited recently with a small group of friends and it was a great experience. The staff were a little frosty when we first arrived asking if we had booked, we hadn’t but the place was pretty empty so didn’t look like it was a problem....We got a table with four other open tables around and chose our drinks. The drinks were delicious and some of the best amaretto sours I’ve had. That said, the service was pretty slow - it took about 20 mins for four drinks to arrive. It wasn’t a problem it just meant as soon as they arrived we ordered the next round.
Will definitely come back!More
