Was visiting London and were told beforehand about this place. My wife and I enjoyed the tasting menu (crab, quail, etc.) as well as the drinks (lassi with rose water, etc.). Great service from start to finish.

Some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere but the real star was the food. Everything we ate was incredible, the stand out being a small chickpea dish which was ridiculously packed with flavour. Can't wait to go back! Very veggie friendly.

Local restaurant few meters from my home. I called after an exhausting 12 hours working day to order my favourite takeaway. On a quick phone call I was told that it is impossible, because they are too busy. I kindly explained that it is just for one person and their answer was again no. I was very surprised, because I... Dinner for two with just a couple of beers each was £140 Restaurant Manager was attentive and ensured service was generally good. Food was generally ok apart fom the duck kebab starter and lamb curry main course both of which were very good. Overall doesn't though compare especially well to sister restaurant Gymkhana or somewhere like Veeraswamy.

Not your average Indian restaurant. Excellent food and ambiance. Strongly recommend. Both of my kids (13 and 11) loved it. Only word of warning is that the food can be quite spicy if you have any family members who are spice-shy.

This restaurant had great service but the food lacked in taste, the food is overpriced for what you get and quite frankly, doesn't deserve the Michelin star. Will not be returning.

The best Indian food tasted in London. The quality and the quantity Great! Excellent service. and ambiance just right.. Five of us had a very pleasant meal. Highly recommended if you are looking for a tasty Indian meal. Prices are reasonable for a Michelin star restaurant in the heart of London.

We went on Sunday night and had a fantastic meal. The food is excellent, we particularly enjoyed the Tikka Salmon, and the service was very good. There was a slight issue with the front door opening, it caused quite a draft. However, when we pointed it out to the waiter, he put the heated air con on, and resolved it... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
